The Njala University Campus at Mokonde, has reported the sudden death of their colleague, who was reportedly murdered near the India Temple at Royal Night Club, Mosongo, Njala Mokonde.
According to report, the deceased Njalite sustained severe injuries on her head, which led to excessive bleeding from the nose, mouth, and ears. Her remains were then taken to the Bo Government Hospital for an autopsy to be carried out.
Following the investigation, reports confirmed that one of the colleagues who resides next to the victims’ room, has been taken into custody by the police for further questioning.
The Students’ Union Government of the Njala University has expressed commitment to actively working with the authorities in ensuring they bring justice to their deceased colleague.
The government further compelled its students to exercise patience and cooperation with the authorities in their investigations, assuring them that further information regarding the incident will be provided from the medical examiners and the security authorities.
Killing in universities is at a rampage. We pray that justice will prevail and my heartfelt condolences to the deceased families 🙏🥺.
