The Management of People’s Efforts Advocating for Community Empowerment Sierra Leone (PEACE-Salone), has hosted a cross session of members of the National Youths Commission in Bo City as part of establishing partnership and collaborative work exchange.

Muhammad M.P. Koroma and Ibrahim Hindowa who are two senior staff from the National Youth Commission (NAYCOM), made the visit following a request from the Management of PEACE -Salone to establish a partnership with NAYCOM.

In his statement, Aruna Kamara, the Chief Executive Officer of PEACE-Salone thanked that head of the Commission, South for honouring his invitation in order to chat the way forward towards the empowerment of youths in Sierra Leone, which is key in their operations as an organisation.

The staff from NAYCOM in theie response expressed gratitude and apprcated the CEO for contributing to the development of youths in the district and the country at large. They maintained that, the youths who formed the bulk of the population in Sierra Leone, have a critical role to play in the development of the country.

They further maintained that, they are pleased with the organisation for taking the advocacy of the youths to a higher esteem as well as enabling environment to support young people to utilize their talents, undertake viable and innovative business and skills.
