Residents of Dogoloya Town have raised concerns over the deteriorating condition of the bridge linking the community to Sinkunia, warning that the structure poses a growing safety risk to people who rely on the route daily.

According to residents, the bridge has become increasingly unsafe and is affecting movement between Dogoloya Town and surrounding communities. The route is used by traders, schoolchildren, motorists, travelers and other residents for daily transportation and access to essential services.

Community members say the damaged bridge has created anxiety among road users, particularly during the rainy season when flooding and slippery conditions could worsen the situation. They warned that continued use of the bridge without repairs could increase the risk of accidents, injuries and possible loss of life.

Residents are appealing to stakeholders in Falaba District, including local authorities and Pavifort Construction Company, to urgently assess the condition of the bridge and take the necessary steps to rehabilitate or replace it.

They emphasized that a safe and durable bridge would improve transportation, restore confidence among road users and support economic activities in the area.

Residents further noted that reliable road infrastructure is essential for community development and called for swift intervention to ensure that the Dogoloya Town bridge is made safe for public use without further delay.
