Magistrate Abu Bakarr Bangura has sent one Issa Kamara, scrap metal dealer on remand at the Male Correctional Centre on Pademba Road.

The 24-year-old scrap metal dealer was accused of theft at Milton Margai Technical University Congo Cross Branch.

Police said the accused stole cables, socket outlets, ivory box and other items said to be worth over NLe 5,000.

Kamara pleaded innocent to the allegation in court.

The prosecutor, Detective Police Constable 15098 Sesay asked for short adjournment in order for him to have a better conference with his witnesses.

The matter was adjourned to July 25 for further hearing.

In another case, one Ishmael Sesay was remanded by Magistrate Hadiru Daboh for theft.

Sesay, who was an auto electrician, was accused of stealing items including fan belt, water pump and transmission box belonging to one Kabba Turay.
