Two suspects are currently in police custody in Koindu for breaking-of and stealing of ten bags cement meant for the construction of Koindu mini market.
Sargent 8321 Usman Kanu attached at the Criminal Investigation Department, Koindu police division stated that the two suspects were caught with the exhibit (10 bags cement) overnight after have intelligence against them. He further assured to conduct more Investigation in order to call to book who ever will be found guilty.
Sargent 8321 Kanu appealed to all and sundry including the local authorities to monitor the construction project of the mini market as the money is from the tax payers’ cofer. Our people cry for developments but when those developments given to them, they will be the same people to destroy. They are enemies of their own progress, but we will ensure they face the law, stressed Sargent Kanu.
As a newly transformed Division Sargent 8321 Usman Kanu updated that they are on top of situation in terms of crime rate. Also raised concern over with the lack of mobility for patrol and limited personnel since the division shares borders with neighbouring Guinea and Liberia.
