Two Chinese nationals, Wu Jing and Kong Faxxin, were past Tuesday arraigned before Magistrate Mark Ngegba of Court No. 1, on Pademba Road in Freetown for allegedly stealing two vehicles.
One of the vehicles is valued at Seventy Thousand United States of America Dollars (USD 70,000). The stolen vehicles are the legal properties of Zhan Guaxin, commonly known as Mike.
The accused are before the courts on four counts indictment, ranging from conspiracy to commit a felony, larceny and assessor after the fact. All the offences are contrary to the laws of Sierra Leone.
In count one, it is alleged by the Inspector General of Police that on Thursday 21st April, 2022, at a garage at No. 58, Sir Samuel Lewis Road, Aberdeen in Freetown, both accused conspired together with other persons unknown to commit a fel9ony, to wit larceny.
On count two, it is further alleged that on the same date and place, the accused stole one jeep with registration number ASV177,A
