A 24-year-old woman, Mamie Foday, has been arrested for the murder of her husband, Ishiaka Magai, 42, in Bo City.
The incident occurred on Sunday, December 8th, at their residence on 42 Koribondo Road.
According to reports, the couple, who had been married for several years but had no children, had a history of domestic disputes. Despite these issues, they continued to live together.
Witnesses claim that Foday had previously expressed threats towards her husband, stating, “I will be the one to kill him.” On the day of the incident, while Magai was asleep, Foday allegedly stabbed him in the stomach.
Magai was rushed to Bo Government Hospital but succumbed to his injuries. His body was subsequently transferred to the mortuary.
Five witnesses have provided statements to the police, corroborating Foday’s threats and the events leading up to the murder.
The Regional Criminal Investigation Department (CID) South is currently investigating the case, led by Detective Police Constable 18924 Mbayo M. under the supervision of Detective Assistant Superintendent of Police Titus Vandy.
The case file will be forwarded to the Principal State Counsel for legal advice as investigations continue.
Oh my God , Bo again ?
Woman killing their men all over the country and no one said anything about that
Things are really getting out of hands over women killing of our fellow men and no one is saying anything
It’s too much now for those act, the men are always killed by stabbing from women, the funny thing is that the government let them go with little punishment.
If you actually take a look of the percentage of bad people around the world the percent of women is gradually accelerating day by day and our leaders around the world doing nothing about it,is fair my fellow good people?
I strongly believe the lady has been undergoing abuse from her husband for so long, that’s why she retaliated that way. The police need to investigate well because some men abuse their wife/GF aggressively o the point that the woman are willing to kill them and face jail time.
