The Ministry of Lands, Housing and Country Planning has compiled and gazetted the names of 200 Sierra Leoneans who were selected in a public raffle draw for allocation of State Land situated at Allen Town in Freetown.
These two hundred Sierra Leoneans were among over 7,000 applicants for 200 plots of State Land announced by the Ministry for allocation to members of the public.
To ensure transparency and fairness in the allocation process, a public raffle draw with the names of all the over 7,000 applicants was held in the compound of Youyi Building on Thursday December 9 2021.
During the raffle draw, one of the winners was identified as a staff of the Ministry. Since staff members were not eligible to participate in the raffle draw, he was therefore disqualified and another draw held to fill his gap.
All the names of the successful winners of the raffle including the name of the disqualified staff are hereby published.
The individuals will be contacted soonest for further information on the land identification and document processing.
