As Sierra Leoneans go to the polls on June 24th today, many individuals are very happy as they left their home very early to cast their votes for their respective candidates.
Voting commenced in many polling stations in Kenema at 7am. Kenema is the regional headquarter town of the eastern province and has 12 members of parliament seat to be occupied after the general elections.
At different centres and designated areas, voters are still in line to have their vote cast. The RC Primary School at Tokpombu 2, Tongo Field, Lower Babara Chiefdom, Kodebotihun Layout Center Code 2242, RC Primary School at Gofor in Dama Chiefdom and many other areas have been peaceful and vote going on well.
ECSL officials, Party agents and other observers are all set to have the election conducted peacefully.
This is really questionable, because many areas in Freetown at 11:07 voting has not yet started constituency 124 ward 427 Freetown Susan Bay Community is a brighter example. The reason is unknown to the public.
