They are facing allegations of theft amounting to thirty thousand dollars, as reported by Tuma Adama Gento Kamara, the wife of Mohamed Gento Kamara, who ran as the SLPP Mayoral candidate in the June elections.

The accused individuals have been charged on two counts, including Conspiracy to Commit a Felony, as per the law, and Larceny in a Dwelling House, which contravenes Section 13(a) of the Larceny Act 1916.

According to the Particulars of Offense on Count 1, both Kadie Johnny and Norman Jabbie allegedly conspired on Sunday, 16th August 2023, along with unidentified individuals, to commit a felony, specifically, the theft of property from a dwelling house located at No. 3 Gentle View Hill Station, Freetown.

It is alleged that they made away with a sum of thirty thousand United States Dollars ($30,000) and an additional thirty thousand new Leone (NLe 30,000), all of which belonged to Tuma Adama Gento Kamara.

During the court proceedings, Inspector Sellu Tap, the Prosecutor, informed the Court that the first accused, Kadie Johnny, was currently hospitalized at Lumley. However, the second accused, Norman Jabbie, was present in court.
