The Mayor of Banjul Rohey Malick Lowe has engaged President Bio and First Lady Fatima Maada Bio on strengthening bilateral relations between Banjul and Sierra Leone.

It was reported that the meeting was focused on exploring areas of collaboration in trade, tourism, and cultural exchange as well as emphasizing on leveraging each other’s strengths to drive economic growth and development as MD Lowe is the First Ever Elected Female Mayor in the history of Banjul.

President Bio stressed on the importance of regional cooperation for shared prosperity which may serve as a win situation for both parties.

This is part of the visit made by President Bio to have more bilateral connections that may be vital for the people in achieving his plans and goals.
