An All People’s Congress Party councillor (name withheld as he is currently being searched for) who represents a ward in the Lungi area, is on the run after the Paramount Chief of Kaffu Bullom Chiefdom, Port Loko District, North of Sierra Leone, was told that the councillor was the one that was damaging and stealing cables from transformers to sabotage the electricity in the whole of Lungi.

The wise chief decided that instead of him just going to the police direct as the cable thief was not caught red-handed, he decided to the use the wise King Solomon method to catch the criminal.

The councillor was summoned and he was told to take an oath on a pot with the threat that if he is guilty the pot will kill him in a matter of days after the pot would have stopped him from urinating and going to the toilet.

The councillor was to give excuses as to why he couldn’t take the oath at that point in time and begged the chief for him to take the oath the next day.

Over several months now, the councillor has not surfaced.

It was to later be learnt that the councillor had escaped to a faraway place where he must have planned to stay until after the dust settles.

APC elements have become highly notorious for attacking and damaging transformers all over the country just so that the sitting government will be blamed for a crime it never committed.

Meanwhile the said APC councilor is said to have been spotted in the Kabala area where he is said to have gone to seek refuge.
