Honorable Ernest Dura Koroma, a Member of Parliament for the opposition All People’s Congress (APC) party, tragically died today in a fatal road accident along with his driver.

The accident has plunged his constituency, the Tonko Limba Chiefdom, and the entire Kambia District into mourning.

Hon. Koroma was a well-known political figure in the region, and his passing is being described by constituents as a profound loss to the community and to Sierra Leone.

“His death is not only a blow to his family and friends but a heavy loss to the entire Tonko Limba community and Sierra Leone as a whole,” stated a representative of the community.
