The Sierra Leone’s Court of Appeal will this morning deliver a ruling in the Commissions of Inquiry matter between former President, Ernest Bai Koroma versus the State, and to determine if he is entitled to immunity.
According to reports, the ruling is to determine whether Ernest Bai Koroma as former Head of State is entitled to Immunity for acts done whilst serving as President of Sierra Leone.
The Coram of Judges presiding on the matter: Hon. Justices Momoh-Jah Stevens (JA), Hon. Adrian J. Fisher (J) and presiding Judge, Hon.Justice Ansumana Ivan Sesay (JA) will also hear the Oral Submissions of Counsel in other COI matters including Sahr Wonday Versus the State; Samuel O. J Coker Versus the State; Abdul Rahman Musa Fofanah Versus the State; Mohamed Bangura Versus the State and Dr. Richard Conteh Versus the State.
Similarly, the Coram of Justices: Hon. Mrs Tonya Barnett (JA), Hon. Augustine K. Musa (J) and presiding Judge Hon. Justice Michael P. Mami (JA) will also hear the oral submissions of Counsel in the matter between Umaru Badara Sisay Versus the State.
