Sierra Leone’s President Julius Maada Bio has arrived in New York City to participate in the High-Level Week of the 80th United Nations General Assembly (UNGA).
The President’s schedule includes a series of discussions and meetings centered on global cooperation and regional development.
“I’m in New York for the 80th United Nations General Assembly,” President Bio stated upon his arrival.
“I’m looking forward to having meaningful discussions as we mark key anniversaries: the UN’s 80th anniversary, ECOWAS’s 50th, and the 20th anniversary of Ezulwini and Sirte.”
