Sierra Leone’s President Julius Maada Bio has responded to reports and rumors about his death.

Bio spoke to AYV TV shortly after his return to Sierra Leone on Wednesday.

The President asked God to grant long life to everyone who declared him dead while he was on vacation in Kenya.

President Bio who said that has now fully returned to work emphasized that he is praying for their long life so that they can all see the benefit in Sierra Leone.

“Sierra Leone will be better if we all work hard. Na we small country. It takes a lot of energy, time and planning to make it a better country. And we have started. Gradually, we are changing the image, the narrative and with time, we will all see the improvement we have been yearning for.”
