The Council of Churches in Sierra Leone has challenged appointed members of the government Tribunal to conduct a free and transparent investigation of the Auditor General and her Deputy.
CCSL expressed their concern over the independence of the Tribunal, stating that investigation should be carried out without any hindrance and interference.
CCSL added that the investigation should be speedily done and in a way that it does not go against the principles of natural justice.
The Council also hopes that the Tribunal be done in the interest of the Country.
