The Chief Minister Of The Republic Of Sierra Leone, David Moinina Sengeh and the minister of youth affairs, Mohamed Orman Bangura have on the 22nd august 2023 engaged a cross session of the traders at the Central Business District of Freetown.

The engagement was focused on how they can have strategic plans on their operation and activities in the city go on smoothly. The traders projected their basic challenges faced in doing their business.

The ministers spoke about the government’s commitment to improving the lives of the citizens of the country as well as boosting the business sector in the country. They presented the president’s five big changers for which the government and all other players are working hard to achieve as well as other issues including the youth empowerment fund, the drug epidemic and more.

They maintained that, a government is for the people and the people may have to be involved in all the activities of the government for which they call on the traders to also assist the government in rolling out and protecting different developmental activities by the government at all times.
