Sierra Leone’s Chief Minister, David Moinina Sengeh, has convened with leaders from civil and public service institutions, aiming to ensure quality work and sustainable service delivery for the nation’s people.
The engagement included leaders of the various heads of the civil and public service institutions including the Secretary to the President, Secretary to the Vice President, Head of Cabinet Secretariat/Head of Civil Service, Chairman Public Service Commission, and Deputy DG Human Management Resources Organization respectively.
The Chief Minister assured the people of Sierra Leone that, among many other things, they would ensure that ministers and civil servants work together to achieve a positive result for the people of the country.
“The effective delivery of services relies on quality working relationships of political and administrative leaders. These relationships haven’t always been positive but we are committed to giving it a shot through reforms, engagements, and where there’s really poor quality, sanctions. The future is bright,” he stated.
