His Excellency Ambassador Mahamat Paba Salé, the Dean of Africa Ambassadors and Ambassador of Cameroon, visited the Republic of Sierra Leone Embassy in Moscow, where he was welcomed by His Excellency Mohamed Yongawo.

Ambassador Yongawo expressed gratitude for the Dean’s visit and highlighted President Julius Maada Bio’s Five Big Game Changers, focusing on Food Security, Information Technology, Civil Service Reform, and Human Capital Development through Education.

The ambassadors discussed the Common African Agenda, emphasizing Sierra Leone’s role in advocating for UN Security Council reforms and global peace during the recent UN General Assembly.

They acknowledged the contributions of both nations within the African Union and the UN, particularly in promoting peace and advancing women’s and youth rights.

The meeting also reflected on the longstanding cordial relations between Sierra Leone and Cameroon.

They concluded by discussing the welfare of ambassadors and commending the collaborative atmosphere fostered under Ambassador Salé’s leadership in Russia, reinforcing their commitment to strengthening diplomatic relations and addressing key issues affecting Africa.
