During his visit, Minister Sackey toured the ship’s nine decks, which were filled with over 800,000 books, covering a wide range of topics from art and cooking to Christian literature and sports.

He praised the initiative for bringing affordable books to the public, particularly students and educators, and for creating an opportunity to enhance reading culture in the country.

“This book fair provides an invaluable resource for our students, teachers, and the entire community,” said Minister Sackey. “It is through access to books and knowledge that we can continue to build a stronger foundation for education and development.”

The Minister also engaged with the management of the Logos Ship, emphasizing the need to integrate such platforms into the national education strategy.

He expressed optimism that events like the Logos Book Fair would inspire a new generation of learners and educators, helping to improve literacy rates across the country.
