Popular Sierra Leonean DJ Egerton Shabba has called out the First Lady, Fatima Maada Bio in regards to veteran singer Vida Green’s medical bill.

It would be recalled that veteran singer was diagnosed with intestinal obstruction in December 2021. This brought alarm to many Sierra Leonean entertainers making them to create GoFundMe account while others were receiving money through Orange and Afri Money to raise $10,000 for her surgery.

Sierraloaded learnt that the story later got to the First Lady, Fatima Jabbe Maada Bio who reportedly covered the hospital bill for Vida’s  first successful operation.

The First Lady stepped in after seeing the pledge on Sarah Kallay Blog on Facebook. According to Sarah Kallay, she supplied Madam Fatima Jabbe Bio the family’s information and she contacted them that very day. On her return from her trip, Madam First Lady kept in touch with the family and requested for regular update.

She added that, she was invited to convey her well wishes as well as her decision to cover all medical bills for Vida to her family.

Sarah confirmed that, one operation was done to save Vida’s life as she was in a very critical situation. Monies already expended by the family to cover the First operation was refunded by the First Lady and asked that the family keep her personally updated.

However, in a cryptic post on Friday, Shabba took to his social media to accuse the first lady of telling lies while also insinuating that Fatima will be held responsible if anything happens to the veteran singer.

“De posin wey lie say E go pay all medical bills for VIDA, Father forgive if anything happen with VIDA now, We go hold u responsible.”, He wrote.
