Despite admonition from the Electoral Commission for Sierra Leone (ECSL) for the local population to go about their duties after casting their ballots, the centre of the capital Freetown remains empty.
Several business places remain shut.
Security checkouts are spotted at St. John and PZ Junctions with military checking on vehicles.
The capital remains peaceful.
