The European Union in Sierra Leone in line with the National Medium-Term Development Plan 2019-2023 provides funding for the rehabilitation of 100 Schools in 4 Districts of Bo, Kenema, Bombali, and Port Loko.

The European Union in Sierra Leone has posted on their social media pages about the project’s commencement in several districts.

They mentioned that these rehabilitations are part of their collaborative efforts with the government to make future-oriented decisions

A better school environment for the children of Sierra Leone ,The Government took the future-oriented decision to invest in human capital development.”

Concluding their post, they highlighted that this investment will positively impact over 10,000 students in rural areas, creating a more student-friendly school environment.

“Over 10,000 students in rural areas have benefited of this support aiming at promoting equality, quality teaching, and learning.”
