Sierra Leone’s First Lady, Fatima Bio has on September 28th, 2023 reaffirmed her total support to the Sierra Leone Army Wives Cooperative Society as they work to complement the agenda of President Bio.
Her commitment was made during the recent commissioning ceremony of the Beamay Preparatory School in Wilberforce as the refurbished school received a much-needed facelift through the efforts of Orange Sierra Leone.
She acknowledged their relentless dedication in securing funding for the school’s refurbishment and she applauded their emphasis on education, which aligns perfectly with President Bio’s agenda in building the country’s human capital.
She extended her appreciation to Orange and Sonatel for not only refurbishing the school but for elevating its standards to meet higher educational benchmarks, as well as emphasizing the importance of collaboration with the Army Wives in fulfilling their shared vision of creating a better society for women, children, and girls.
