The Minister of Basic and Senior Secondary School Education (MBSSE) David Moinina Sengeh has disclosed that, the ministry has received donation from the Federation Internationale de Football Association (FIFA).
Minister Sengeh thanked and appreciated the federation on behalf of the school going pupils and other educational players inclduing the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) for the donation of 10,820 footballs to the ministry.
The donation he said was made under the football for school project for onward distribution to schools in the country.
He maintained that the MBSSE will ensure that every Pre-Primary, Primar,y and Junior Secondary School in the country receive the donation and use it for its actual purpose in the schools across the country.
“On behalf of school-going pupils in Sierra Leone, I want to thank FIFA through the SLFA for donating 10820 footballs to the MBSSE under the Football 4 Schools project for onward distribution to schools in the country.
My team at the MBSSE will ensure that every Pre-Primary, Primary, and Junior Secondary School in the country benefits from this kind gesture from FIFA,” he stated.
