Fourah Bay College, University of Sierra has on the Tuesday 20th December, 2022 unveiled the 2022/2023 academic year University timetable.

From the University’s stakeholders meeting held on the 16th December, this year, with Dean’s, Heads of Academic and Administrative departments, and coordinators of programmes on the college preparation for the running of 202/23 academic, the University whishes to bring to your attention the outlined Calender of Academic activities as captured below.

  1. Deadline for the submission of outstanding grades         22nd December, 2022
  2. Resumption from Christmas break                     3rd January, 2023
  3. Commencement of publication of results          3rd January, 2023
  4. Orientation for newly admitted students             9th January, 2023
  5. Registration for continuing students                    3rd to 14th January, 2023
  6. End of lectures                                                          11th March, 2023
  7. 1st Semester Examination                                      20th March to 8th April, 2023
  8. BREAK                                                                         8th to 15th April, 2023
  9. Second Semester lectures                                       17th April to 27th May, 2023
  10. Second Semester Examination                                29th May to 17th June, 2023

According to the notice and the outcome of the meeting, the decision was agreed as a result of the 2023 general elections. The notice continued that, there is need as agreed on the meeting for the timetables of various departments to be scheduled in a way that allows for the covering of the course content within the stipulated time frame, and through the dual face-to-face and virtual modes, as much as applicable for the various courses.
