The Ministry of Communication, Technology and Innovation (MoCTI) has convened a high-level Felei TechCity Ministerial Roundtable, bringing together key government leaders to discuss the strategic vision for the initiative and explore how various sectors can integrate into the platform.

During the session, Chief Executive Officer David E. M. Manley provided an update on the project’s progress, outlining plans to establish an inter-ministerial steering committee aimed at strengthening coordination as development advances.

Minister of Communication, Technology and Innovation, Salima Bah, emphasised the transformative potential of Felei TechCity, noting that sectors such as education, tourism, land management, enterprise, and public service delivery can be interconnected through the platform to enable large-scale collaboration.

The roundtable featured an open and interactive discussion, with contributions from several senior government officials, including Dr Haja Ramatulai Wurie, Nabeela Tunis, Conrad Sackey, and Phylis Kormoh. Representatives from the Ministry of Local Government and the Ministry of Justice also participated in the engagement.

The Felei TechCity initiative continues to evolve as a shared ecosystem designed to connect students, startup founders, investors, and institutions. The platform aims to foster early collaboration, innovation, and collective development, positioning itself as a key driver of Sierra Leone’s digital and economic transformation.
