Following the military takeover Guinea earlier Sunday 5 September, 2021, the Leader of the Coup Détat, Mamady Doumbouya, has pronounced a statement that will affect Sierra Leone.
Doumbouya has closed all entry borders linking Sierra Leone to Guinea for one week. The one-week state lockdown came after the putschist gained control of the Capital, and the closure include both Air, Land and Sea.

This means no one goes into Guinea or travels to Sierra Leone. This will affect Sierra Leoneans who will want to travel to Guinea for business purposes.
