Lindsay Nagle, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Infinitum Energy has held a strategic meeting with President Bio and his delegation during his recent visit to New York on some developmental relations.
The company had the privilege of discussing their ground-breaking $189 million Waste-to-Energy (30 megawatts of electricity) project with Sierra Leone’s newly appointed Chairman of the Special Initiative for Climate Change, Renewable Energy, and Food Security, Kandeh Kolleh Yumkella.
The project will help to boost and strengthen the electricity system in the country and serve as an aid in reducing the many concerns by the citizens especially in the nation’s capital.
It is also noted that, with this, the Infinitum facility directly addresses 4 of the Government’s 5 Big Game Changers: Human Capital Development, Youth Employment, Revamping Public Services, and Tech and Infrastructure.
The CEO expressed great appreciation and noted that the company is excited to serve as a partner for these critical initiatives, adding that it is a significant step towards a brighter, cleaner future for Sierra Leone.
