Officials assured the Minister that such incidents would be prevented in the future. They explained that the recent drug seizure involved a shipment hidden under a vehicle engine, which was difficult to detect.
The meeting concluded with officials requesting that a representative from the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) be stationed at the border to strengthen drug interception efforts.
