Aording to a report from Kambia District, it has been alleged that Sheik Mohamed Alhaji Kamara, a prominent politician of the main Opposotion APC, popularly known as Jagaban, was denied access to enter Manbolo in the Northern Region of Sierra Leone.
Jagaban had reportedly intended to address thousands of APC comrades and members of his Jagaban Movement on peace and tranquility during his visit to the district.
However, the Sierra Leone Police set up a roadblock at the crossing point of Manga-Bureh, the border town between Port Loko and Kambia, and prevented him from proceeding.
The Officer in Charge at the checkpoint allegedly informed Jagaban and his team that they had received an order from Freetown not to allow him into Kambia District.
