Mr. Tarawalley went on to state that they at the ministry had been working assiduously with various stakeholders to uphold the rule of law and democratic principles as a nation. He also recalled the President’s passion for free, fair and accessible justice system for all Sierra Leoneans devoid of their tribe, region or social standing.
He ended by saying that notwithstanding the challenges they were sure of the President’t support and assured him of his commitment to working for the good of the people of the country.
In his brief response, President Bio congratulated his principal legal adviser and went on to state that it was always an honour to have good people around who would serve the country well, adding that his focus should be to serve the government and the people of Sierra Leone.
“It is a weighty task but you must deliver with modesty, professionalism and every bit of energy in you,” he said.
