Kenema Kambio Eagles FC player, Lahai Massaquoi, popularly known as Bale, has appealed to the public for financial assistance to address a lingering foot injury.
In a post dated 29th September 2025, Bale explained that he and his family had already spent heavily on treatment but without improvement, leaving them unable to continue with further medical care.
“To my fans and the football community, I am in urgent need of your help. A devastating injury has left me unable to play, and after six months, my condition is worsening. We have spent everything on treatment. I am now soliciting your financial support to cover my medical bills and begin a true recovery. Your generosity can restore my health and career,” Bale wrote.
The player, who remains sidelined from action, expressed hope that with timely support he can recover fully and resume his football career with the Eagles.
Earlier this month, the Kenema City Mayor and other stakeholders held a meeting following the resignation of the club chairman.
During the discussions, Mayor Baio and others pledged to support the team in regaining its past glory. Observers note that Bale’s current medical challenge presents an opportunity for those commitments to be demonstrated through tangible support for the player.
