The Environmental Directorate under the Ministry of Health has recognized the Kenema District Council, led by Chairperson Madam Francess Musu Jambawai, for its exceptional efforts in maintaining clean environments across major chiefdom headquarters, towns, and communities within the district.

He affirmed that the directorate would continue collaborating with the council to sustain these efforts.
