‘Dear Founding members of NGC,
In addition to the ongoing local efforts at reconciliation, I have been engaged by the NGC-NA and UK&I executives and elders councils. I have assured them that we will move forward along the trajectory set by the Convention and NEC meeting unabated. We extend our gratitude to our Deputy Chairman and Leader, our Secretary General, the Youth Wing and Women’s Wing, and all those who have come forward to clarify issues. Fake news and negative propaganda will not deter us from our core values and our belle-belief Sierra Leone needs a coalition of progressives across party lines. Our common enemies are still poverty, Ignorance, and corrupt, option, rather than people in other political parties.
Yesterday, the National Officers showed me their work program with preset dates for several activities and meetings. Let’s support them robustly. We will soon go nationwide, and to every district, with our message of Compassionate Inclusive Governance (CIG). NshalInshallahill keeps moving forward to heal and unite our nation. Without peace, rule of law, and respect for human rights there will be no development.
On another note, yesterday at the funeral of General Komba Mondeh, it was wonderful to be in the mosque with VP Juldeh Jalloh, and former VPAlhaji Samsuma, both of them sitting sideside-by-sidehind them was HwereChernor Maju Bah and me. Wow!! That should be the new Sierra Leone; together as one, in a progprogressiveiance for a better Salone as one people with a common destiny Have a great weekend.”
