The Minister of Lands, Housing, and Country Planning, Dr. Turad Senesie, has publicly forgiven Mrs. Admire Bio Jalloh following a defamation case, while reaffirming his dedication to serving the people of Sierra Leone with integrity and humility.
In a statement released after the conclusion of legal proceedings, Dr. Senesie recalled that on 25th August 2025, his character and integrity were challenged by what he described as “a series of slanderous accusations” made by Mrs. Bio Jalloh, intended to damage his reputation and undermine his public duties.
Declaring his innocence, the Minister said he promptly sought redress through the High Court and the Sierra Leone Police, praising both institutions for their “swift, professional, and impartial” handling of the matter. He emphasized that the outcome reaffirmed his faith in the supremacy of the law and its protection for all citizens.
“I would like to express my sincere appreciation to the judiciary particularly the presiding judge for the fairness and integrity displayed throughout the proceedings,” Dr. Senesie said.
He also extended gratitude to his wife, Madam Boi Fatu Fabundeh Senesie, and their children for standing by him during the ordeal, acknowledging the pain and distress they endured. He thanked friends, relatives, and Ministry staff for their unwavering support, pledging to continue serving with humility and dedication.
Reflecting on the challenges of governance, Dr. Senesie noted that “public life is a difficult one,” requiring sacrifice, patience, and resilience. In a conciliatory gesture, he ended his statement with a message of forgiveness to his accuser, Mrs. Admire Bio Jalloh.
