In a significant step towards bolstering President Bio’s ambitious plan to generate 500,000 jobs for Sierra Leone’s youth, Minister of Youth Affairs, Mohamed Orman Bangura, concluded fruitful discussions with Irish Ambassador Aidan Fitzpatrick.

The primary focus of their meeting was to explore and enhance job prospects for the country’s young population.

Minister Bangura emphasized the government’s commitment to achieving a substantial job creation rate in Sierra Leone, with the ultimate goal of securing sustainable employment for the youth.

The discussions spanned various key areas, including interventions in the youth sector, job creation initiatives, health education, sustainable agriculture, and increased representation of women in parliament.

Speaking about the positive outcomes of the discussions, Minister Bangura highlighted the collaborative efforts aimed at providing Sierra Leoneans with opportunities to enjoy enhanced living standards.

The minister expressed optimism regarding the positive impact these measures would have on the lives of the country’s youth under the leadership of President Bio.
