The Ministry of Tourism and Cultural Affairs has announced the return of the One Nation Reggae Festival, with Volume 2 scheduled to take place from 25th to 30th November 2026.
Building on the success of the inaugural festival and the outcomes of the 2025 Creative Clinic, the event will continue to serve as a premier platform for celebrating reggae music, cultural diversity, creativity, and national unity.
According to the Ministry, the festival also supports Sierra Leone’s growing reputation as a cultural tourism destination while creating opportunities for artists, creatives, entrepreneurs, and local communities.
The Ministry further stated that, guided by recommendations contained in the recently launched One Nation Reggae Festival Creative Clinic Report, the 2026 edition will feature musical performances, cultural showcases, educational forums, and community-based activities aimed at promoting cultural preservation, youth empowerment, diaspora engagement, and sustainable tourism.

The festival will be preceded by an Intergenerational Conversation on Global Tourism Resilience, organised in collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism of Jamaica. The dialogue is expected to bring together policymakers, tourism practitioners, cultural leaders, academics, youth representatives, and members of the diaspora to explore innovative approaches to building resilient and sustainable tourism sectors in an evolving global environment.
The Ministry has invited the public, development partners, members of the diaspora, and reggae enthusiasts around the world to participate in what it describes as a unique celebration of music, culture, and African heritage.
