Ramadan 2023: Natasha Beckley Shares Fasting Experience
Salamatu Y. Kamara Natasha Beckley one of Sierra Leone’s female rappers has shared her experience of fasting in the Holy month of Ramadan.
Natasha Beckley who recently converted to Islam a few months back and 2023 Ramadan being her first Ramadan as a muslin in a video on Facebook explained her experience.
She starts by greeting in the Islamic way “Asalam Wah Lakum” stating that she feels good as it’s day five already and asks Allah to accept the fasting of Muslims.
She said at the initial stage of the fast she thought she couldn’t complete the first day adding that everything is based on how people think.
She continued that people don’t reach their goals sometimes because they mentally stop themselves but seeing herself fasting consecutive five days t’s been amazing.
