Pharmacy Board of Sierra Leone through the Ministry of Health and Sanitation in a public notice dated 29th November 2023, has informed the public that an ongoing investigation is been conducted on the Coco Samba Herbal Product.
The producer of the product is Bullion Go-Neatglobal Limited located at 1 Amras Crescent, Torotoro, Quarters, KM36, Lagos/Ibadan Expressway, Ogun State.
The ingredients used to make the said product are water, Aloe vera extra, and caramel.
According to the Pharmacy Board Sierra Leone, the board has not registered the Coco Samba product and therefore cannot guarantee its quality and safety.
The board revealed that samples of the product have been collected for quality control analyses and the investigation is ongoing.
The board has promised to inform the public of the outcome of the investigation when it has been completed.
This is complete reactive move. How long coco samba has been in circulation and use in the country so if there is any danger in the use i wonder who it would be with the youthful populace of sierra leone that have been using it.
While pharmacy board is on its own to create a laudable platform for its registration, standard bureau has already certify it standards and confirmed it safety. So what is Pharmacy board bringing forward.
This money money business is really hitting the fabrics of this country. Let them bring their findings hastily and advise the users appropriately.
If the pharmacy board brought up any result based on their findings contrary to standard bureau of Sierra Leone, I wonder what would be the reactions of the government, oh salon, dis corruption for money has created a lot of atrocities in this nation.
But anyway we are waiting to see their results on coco samba product
Coco Samba Company might have refused Pharmacy Board a brown envelop.
