The Minister of Basic and Senior Secondary Education, Conrad Sackey has held a meeting with members from the Education Development Trust.

The Education Development Trust has been awarded a contract by Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) to deliver flexible, embedded technical assistance (TA) to the Ministry of Basic and Senior Secondary Education (MBSSE) and the Teaching Service Commission (TSC) to strengthen policy reform, enhance data-driven planning and the capacity to translate policy to implementation.

It was noted that, the programme will support MBSSE, TSC and relevant Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) leveraging the investments of FCDO in Pillar 2 and other Development Partner (DP) programmes to improve education provision for all –with a focus on girls and children with disabilities.

It is also noted that, it’s part of the plan to boost the inclusive and radical inclusion in the educational system to enhance quality in the sector.
