The Electoral Commission of Sierra Leone has announced that all Presidential nominations have been provisionally accepted until May 17, 2023.

The ECSL Notice states that all Presidential nominations are considered provisional until May 17, 2023, which is the deadline for objections to be raised with the Supreme Court

The ECSL had been accused of inconsistency by the main opposition APC, who claimed that only their presidential candidate’s nomination had been listed as provisional.

However, the ECSL has since clarified that all nominations have been accepted provisionally and has displayed registration information to support this.
