Samura Kamara Meets Commonwealth Secretary-General to Discuss Elections, National Unity, And Democratic Values

Dr Samura Kamara, the presidential candidate of APC in the upcoming elections, visited the Commonwealth Secretariat in London on 07 May 2023 to meet with the Secretary-General, Patricia Scotland KC, to discuss key issues related to the elections and national unity.

During the meeting, Dr Kamara and the Secretary-General discussed the importance of upholding democratic and Commonwealth values in the election process. They also discussed the need for peaceful and inclusive elections that promote national unity and respect for diversity.

Dr Kamara expressed his commitment to working with the Commonwealth to ensure free, fair, and transparent elections in Sierra Leone. He emphasised the need for all stakeholders to respect the rule of law, uphold human rights, and promote peaceful and constructive dialogue.

I observed with dismay, the attitude and behavior of some " foolish" Sierra Leoneans that cannot put points across to support their candidate of choice without using derogatory or obscene language. Dr. Samara and President Bio will not describe each other as "murderer or drunkard wretch" or use any insulting language towards each other. So why are some of these "foolish people" not trying to be decent in supporting president Bio or Dr Samura Kamara? Sadly, I noticed most of the venom in the comments section in this olumn coming from the SLPP supporters. Please let us be decent

Anyone can have a meeting with the Commonwealth secretary. Like president Bio also had his meeting not only with the commonwealth secretary general but also had discussion with the crowned prince an opportunity that was never accorded to Samura Drunkered Kamara. You cannot compare a conscious person like president Bio to that reckless drunk of Samura. But because of the unlimited level of stupidity of the APC supporters, they are still dwelling in a fool"s palace but you will be woken up midnight June 24 by Allah's grace.

Definitely, there is no doubt that power is going to the opposition. Change of power in the 2023 election will sustain peace because the people want change. If the will of the people is turn against them, the people will resist ECSL in any form.
