The Sam & Betty Kay Foundation has carried out its annual Christmas food donation exercise, reaching several vulnerable institutions across Freetown as part of its commitment to generosity and community support.

Led by its founder, Mrs. Elizabeth Massa Samura Kamara, the foundation donated bags of rice, assorted food condiments, and cash support to key institutions, bringing relief and festive cheer to beneficiaries ahead of the Christmas and New Year celebrations.

The donation exercise began at the Lakka Government Hospital, where patients and staff received food items and cash assistance to support those in need. The foundation then proceeded to the Milton Margai School for the Blind and the National School for the Deaf and Dumb, providing similar donations aimed at supporting students and staff of the two special needs institutions.

The exercise concluded at the King George VI Memorial Home in Grafton, where bags of rice and other food condiments were presented to residents to help ensure they enjoy the festive season.

Speaking through the initiative, the foundation emphasized that true fulfilment comes from giving and positively impacting the lives of others. The Sam & Betty Kay Foundation is widely recognized for its consistent and timely humanitarian interventions, particularly its annual food donations to vulnerable communities across Sierra Leone.

The foundation extended Christmas and New Year greetings to all beneficiaries, wishing them a happy Christmas and a prosperous New Year.
