The Commission of Sierra Leone in Ghana has released update on the winner of the maiden edition of the 2018 Big Sister Salone Women Empowerment Reality TV show, Haja Mariama Kamara popularly known China Nicky on her stay in Ghana.

The Reality TV show winner left the shores of Sierra Leone with her manager, Ejatu Barrie to the United States in 2018. The news was welcomed by Sierra Leoneans considering the past status of Nicky and the rapid growth she was receiving. After 3 years, she was no where to be found.

Sierra Leoneans demanded her whereabout and questions were directedly sent to her manager, Ejatu and the CEO of Big Sister Salone, Zainab Sheriff. An investigation was done by popular blogger and journalist, Sarah Kallay who discovered that China Nicky is in Ghana. Folksinger and award-winning-artiste, Fantacee Wiz also confirmed that Nicky is in Ghana but ashamed to come on social media. Sierra Leoneans doubted the findings of Sarah Kallay and Fantacee Wiz.

However, Sierra Leone High Commission in Ghana revealed that China Nicky is in Ghana and have got her contact. The commission added that, she was invited on Monday 31st January, 2022 to grant her interview which she declined. The Commission has put the matter into investigation and planned to update the public.
