Sierra Leone has won the bid to host the Pan African Hash (PAH) in 2027, following a contested selection process held during PAH Ghana 2025.

The recently concluded Pan African Hash in Ghana drew over 700 Hashers from around the globe, a testament to the growing international appeal of the event, and a promising sign of the excitement and momentum building for Sierra Leone 2027.

The success of Sierra Leone’s bid was driven by the strategic and coordinated efforts of the Ministry of Tourism and Cultural Affairs, under the leadership of Minister Nabeela Farida Tunis, who supported the process with a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Sierra H4, provided transportation (a bus) to support Hashers traveling through the Liberia route to Ghana.

Also, an official endorsement letter from the Permanent Secretary Judith C. Jones, and a powerful and inspiring video message from her (Minister Tunis).

According to the Ministry of Tourism, Sierra H4, the milestone reflects not only a proud moment for their kennel but also a significant step forward for the people of Sierra Leone and the tourism sector.

With this victory, Minister Tunis has committed to ensuring Sierra Leone delivers a world-class hashing experience in 2027.
