Police in the US State of Delaware have arrested Sierra Leonean native, Mohamed Lamin Kandeh in an alleged shooting incident.

“Today, at 11:00 am, Mohamed Kandeh was stopped in his vehicle on Maloney Road in the area of McCurdy Road,” The Delaware Police Department reported on Monday, September 4.

Kandeh is being held under arrest but Police did not say if charges have been filed against him in relation to the shooting.

The 25-year-old was reported to be missing and suspected to have fled in his white Chrysler 200 after the shooting prompting police to issue an alert.

Residents in the neighborhood where the incident occurred said Kandeh and the two alleged victims have been residents of Bristol Drive, Delaware since 2002.
