Theophilus Morrison, a Sierra Leonean-Canadian, has issued a public apology to Sierra Leone’s President Julius Maada Bio and First Lady Fatima Maada Bio for derogatory comments previously directed towards the First Lady.
In a letter addressed to the President, Morrison expressed his regret for the disrespectful remarks and acknowledged the pain they may have caused. He recognized the President’s role as husband and his natural defense of his wife.
Morrison’s appeal for forgiveness centers around Hawa Hunt, who is believed to have made the original offensive comments. Morrison implored President Bio to consider his record of promoting love, forgiveness, and unity as an opportunity to show compassion in this instance.
“I believe that your leadership, which has consistently promoted love, forgiveness, and unity in Sierra Leone, presents an opportunity for the First Family to demonstrate mercy and compassion,” Morrison wrote.
Mercy to the guilty is cruelty to the innocence,let the law take it cause.
It’s a matter of grave concern that the number of paopa shylocks in the land has grown exponentially, more so in areas where applying pressure on the powers that be to sustain an increase of cruel & draconian measures on perceived political oponents that got caught on their traps. Such dishonorable venture has unfortunately become their favorite pastimes in many platforms of social media in SL.

I am so sorry to read about some of you I knew, begging for mercy for those rude people, their parents never trained them to respect elderly or elders. I still have that training planted in me as my parents thought me. While in canada, Hawa Hunt didn’t abuse the prime minister of canada and you people will urge the PM to release or forgive her. I am saying this, all of us in the diaspora, when you, you abuse, personally abuse SL head of state, don’t go to Sierra Leone, because I will pray that God will make sure you get arrested. I hate disrespect towards our president and family. I lately dislike ex president, Ernest koroma because of his actions in our land, but for me, I will never open my mouth to abuse him and his wife like that. Shame on you all. You don’t fit to be a Sierra Leonean. They respect westerner heads of state but not their own. They should stay out of Sierra Leone. Likewise, Mohamed kamarainba. Another shameful one. I can’t really stand you people. God bless, protect our president, our nation and our people. Peace.
