The Minister of Trade and Industry, Edward Hinga Sandi has engaged the business sector on discussions related to national development and improvement of the sector.

Minister Sandi met with the private sector on concerns over the New Finance Act with a request on having a private sector position paper detailing concerns which may be relevant for further discussion with the government that may aim at stabilizing issues related to the ministry respectively.

It is believed that with the different stands by the ministry to ensure better trade proceedings, the country can have a positive result in its trade and industry engagement.

The Minister had also presented the Ratified Trade Agreements to local manufacturing companies which will be of great interest and improvement in the sector.
